Our seasonal menu updates every Saturday afternoon. Our regular menu features 100% local, organically grown produce. Our add-on menu allows you to customize your regular menu order by adding other fruits and veggies not available locally. Our weekly menus are known for featuring specialty varieties, exceptional quality, and unmatched freshness that can’t be found in grocery stores.

Convenient Free Delivery Available or Pick Up at Our Homestead

We offer free delivery every Tuesday to all of Clayton and some areas of Garner, Smithfield, Selma, Archer Lodge, and Raleigh. If your address is not within our delivery range, you’re always welcome to pick up that afternoon at our homestead on the Cleveland side of Clayton every Tuesday from 2:30-6pm or by appointment.

Log-Grown Gourmet mushrooms

Our family’s mushroom farm boasts over 1000 logs with six varieties of both oysters and shiitakes. They are grown outdoors on logs made from trees sustainably harvested right on our homestead. Their intense flavor and impressive nutrient profile are a direct result of being grown with plenty of fresh air and dappled shade. Just as nature intended.

Only a couple logs left in our inventory!

At this point we do not have plans to inoculate mushroom logs this fall. Spring 2025 will be the earliest will will have another round of mushroom logs available to the public. We will update our plans as soon as we have them in place.

You’ll find 100% of our regular menu is made up of so produce grown right here in North Carolina, some as close as a few miles away!
While some of the produce at Melinda’s Market is grown right on our homestead, like all of our mushrooms, okra, figs, sunchokes, baby ginger, and lots of our fresh herbs, we rely on local small farm families to fill out our menu.

our Log-Grown Shiitake and Oyster Mushrooms are a foodie’s dream

We have heard it over and over again from our customers. They all say our mushrooms are the best they’ve ever eaten. And we can’t argue with them!

Our farm offers six different varieties of shiitake mushrooms and six different varieties of oyster mushrooms depending on temperature and rainfall.

Shiitake Varieties include Night Velvet, Native Harvest, Bellwether, Miss Happiness, WR46, and Jupiter
Oyster Varieties include PoHu, Summer White, Grey Dove, Polar White, Blue Dolphin, and Italian
