This Week’s Menu

You MUST start with the local regular menu first, and then you may customize your order with the extra add-ons available.

Since our main goal at Melinda’s Market is supporting our local farmers first and foremost, everyone must start with our regular local menu. Our regular local menu is a seasonal selection of six local, organically-grown veggies which changes each week. You’re able to customize your order by adding out-of-season produce, pantry staples, and farm-fresh eggs to our regular local menu.

***We deliver year-round every week. We do not take winter off.***

YUMMY MENU ALERT! (THURSDAY 3/5)

We are getting another new citrus variety at Melinda’s Market! This week we’re trying Cara Cara Oranges know for their pinkish/red flesh and low acidity. They are sweet and tangy with hints of berries and cherries. I am excited to try yet another variety of Califirnia-grown citrus!

Our weekly menu is updated every Saturday afternoon with seasonal, local fruits and vegetables on our regular local menu along with some extras that you can add to customize your family’s order.

📢📢📢MELINDA’S MARKET IS COMING BACK, BUT ON A NEW DAY!🥗🥕🍎🥦🍊🍃

I have really missed being able to get y’all yummy produce! Thankfully we plan to get back to work next week. As we’ll be without Dave for a good while, I am having to rearrange things so that just the three of us can take care of everything.

🚚The guys who normally meet Dave with veggies Tuesday mornings are able to bring everything all the way out here, but only on Thursdays. This switch would allow me to do the prep work I usually do on veggie day and pick up my veggies that are right nearby while my Raleigh folks are delivering directly to us.

📅I am hopeful that moving our veggie day over two days to THURSDAYS won’t be too much of an inconvenience on our regular customers. I’m not sure how many weeks the schedule would be this way, but I’m guessing 2 months at least.

⏰️I’m still working out the details, but I anticipate releasing the menu Tuesday mornings and leaving orders open until Wednesday morning. I realize that’s not a lot of time to give everyone a chance to see our menu and decide on an order, but this is the only option for me at the moment. Deliveries and pick ups will be THURSDAY AFTERNOONS.

Melinda’s Market is our family’s only source of income, and we’ve been without this income for six weeks now. And to make matters even worse, those six weeks have been the most expensive six weeks of our lives. So if you’re able to order or donate in the coming weeks and months, we would greatly appreciate it.

It has been an incredibly heart-wrenching, exhausting, and scary six weeks and we are ready to get back to a somewhat normal existence. Having the stability and familiar structure of veggie day will be good for both me and the kids.

So keep an eye out for our menu to come out THIS TUESDAY with a THURSDAY DELIVERY/PICK UP. We’re excited to get some delicious, super-fresh produce headed your way again soon!
