Free Delivery Range
We offer free delivery to all of Clayton and some areas of Garner, Smithfield, Selma, Archer Lodge, and Raleigh. If you are outside our delivery range, you’re always welcome to pick up at our homestead. We are located near the intersection of Barber Mill Rd. and Cleveland School Rd. on the Cleveland side of Clayton.
All our deliveries are made on Tuesday afternoons anywhere from 1-7pm. Please set out a cooler if it’s hot out that day, and we’ll put your bags in it.
Pick-Ups at our Homestead
Before picking up, you will get detailed directions to our homestead once you place your order. Pick up times are from 2:30 until dark. I am happy to set your produce out at a specific time during our pick up window if you prefer. You can always text me on veggie day so I am able to better accommodate your schedule that day. If you can’t come during our pick up time, we can schedule a time that is more convenient.
About Our Homestead
Our pick up option has become quite popular even with families inside our delivery range. Lots of folks really enjoy slowly making their way down our picturesque driveway. As you arrive, you’ll pass by our okra patch and orchard. Then you’ll cross over our little creek and catch a glimpse of the goings on at our homestead. Just past our pick up area, you can see some of our mushroom yards along with a couple of our coops. Our birds have plenty of freedom to roam most days. However on veggie day we keep our ducks, geese, and chickens in their coops.
If you are used to the hustle and bustle of suburbia, you are going to love it here. We enjoy a slower pace that you will immediately feel as soon as you pull into our driveway. Our homestead is situated on 20 beautiful acres of secluded hardwood forest and pine groves. We have beautiful wetlands to the back of our home, and we’re bordered on one side by Swift Creek. Our family has lovingly tended this land for over 25 years. We moved here in 1998 from Garner to enjoy a more rural, slower lifestyle. We are still conveniently located just less than 20 minutes from downtown Garner and 20 minutes from downtown Smithfield. Believe it or not, we’re just 25 minutes from bustling downtown Raleigh.
